Grundmann Studios is established.

1894

Named for Emil Otto Grundmann, former director of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, it is located in the former Winslone Skating Rink at 200 Clarendon Street. The building is subsequently leased by the Boston Art Students Association and converted to the group’s headquarters, exhibit halls, and 34 studios. The building is demolished to allow for the widening of Stuart Street in July 1917.
